Alison Phillips
Alison Phillips has worked in a number of capacities helping the Kansas City community engage in comprehensive, evidenced based
solutions to the problem of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. She is a researcher and Adjunct Instructor teaching courses on human trafficking to UMKC and Mid America Nazarene University undergraduate students. She facilitates a multi-sector
community working group dedicated to ending commercial sexual exploitation in KCMO's urban core. Previously, she acted as a consultant to help local churches develop strategic action plans for human trafficking engagement. Alison received a Master's Degree
in Criminal Justice and Criminology from UMKC in 2017 and is a former airline pilot in the state of Alaska. She is foremost a wife and mother of three biological and adopted children.
